Pr François Angoulvant is a clinician-scientist, full professor of Pediatrics, and Head of the Pediatric Department at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois, Switzerland. He holds a PhD degree in epidemiology from Paris University. His research focuses on clinical epidemiology, especially childhood pneumonia, acute otitis media, bronchiolitis, and bacterial meningitis. Since 2020 he has studied COVID-19 cases, MIS-C and the impact of lockdown using robust statistical tools such as time series analysis and Propensity score. He has been a member of the ESPID since 2010.
