DOROTHY

CURRIE

Dorothy Currie is Senior Statistician in the School of Medicine, University of St Andrews, UK, and member of the WHO Collaborating Centre for International Child and Adolescent Health Policy, based in the medical school. Her research focuses on adolescent health and wellbeing, particularly cross-national measurement and comparison of health, the role of schools in supporting health, mental health, smoking behaviour and the impact of policy interventions on adolescent outcomes. Dorothy is currently elected Deputy International Coordinator of the long-running Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) WHO collaborative cross-national study, which currently covers 48 countries across Europe and Canada.
