Gary Finnegan is Editor of Vaccines Today and a trustee of the Coalition for Life-Course Immunisation. He has served on the advisory board of the WHO Vaccine Safety Net and co-authored a paper on online vaccine communication. Gary has a degree in physiology, an MSc in science communications and has worked as a health journalist and editor for 15 years. He was a national winner at the EU Health Prize for Journalists in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and a member of the EU jury in subsequent years. He has won two Irish Medical Media Awards. Gary plans and prepares content for Vaccines Today with the support of an editorial board, runs several social media accounts, and frequently appears in the media. He has also contributed to national newspapers, specialist magazines and is the author of a book about China.
