Dr. C.A. (Charlotte) Haaxma was trained as a neurologist and pediatric neurologist in the Radboudumc Nijmegen and the UMC Utrecht (the Netherlands), with a PhD in Parkinson’s disease. She has a special interest in movement disorders, epilepsy and auto-immune encephalitis in children. In 2012 she became a staff member of the Neurology Department and the Amalia Children’s Hospital (Radboudumc Nijmegen). The Radboudumc Nijmegen is a dedicated referral centre for movement disorders and neuromuscular diseases in children and adults.
