Dr. Holmberg is a Senior Associate Consultant in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota, USA). He received his MD from the University of Minnesota and completed Residency training at the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center followed by a year-long Chief Residency position at that same program. He currently practices as a Pediatric Hospitalist at the Mayo Clinic Children’s Hospital and is active in the training of residents and medical students. His specific interests involve Global Child Health and he completed the University of Minnesota/Centers for Disease Control Certificate of Tropical Medicine (CTropMed ©) course in 2017. He is active on the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine admissions committee.
