Anthon Hulsman qualified as a paediatrician at the Sophia Children’s Hospital (Erasmus University) Rotterdam and further specialised in neonatology at the same institution. He obtained his PhD at Erasmus University in 1995 on asthma research.He became interested in pediatric skin diseases and was trained by late professor Arnold Oranje. He published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of asthma, pediatrics and pediatric dermatology. He has lectured in several national, European and world congresses and training courses.
