Dr. Neky Sargant is a Consultant General pediatrician with expertise in Adolescent Health at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. She graduated from Southampton University and completed her postgraduate training in Adolescent Health in several centers of excellence in the UK before taking up her Consultant position in Bristol in 2018. Specialising in Adolescent Health, Dr. Sargant is Lead clinician for Eating Disorders in Bristol, North Somerset and S Gloucestershire (BNSSG). She also works as a Forensic Medical Examiner at The Bridge Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Bristol, performing forensic medical examinations in children and young people. Dr. Sargant is co-medical lead for Paediatric Mental Health for BNSSG. Dr Sargant is passionate about medical education and co-authored the Adolescent Health chapters in both of the internationally renowned postgraduate and undergraduate paediatric textbooks, "The Science of Paediatrics: MRCPCH Mastercourse" and the "Illustrated Textbook of Paediatrics". Dr. Sargant is the Adolescent lead for the College Specialty Advisory Committee at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK. She also designed the Adolescent program for Bristol Medical School.
